About FinSafe

What FinSafe is

FinSafe exists for a simple reason: most money problems between people start with an unclear agreement. A loan to a cousin, a deposit on a motorbike, a payment plan with a friend — these deals are usually sealed with a conversation, and when memories differ, both the money and the relationship suffer.

FinSafe helps you put everyday financial agreements in writing and keep track of the payments that follow. Clear agreements, safer payments — that is the whole idea. FinSafe is made by Whale Task Co., Ltd. and consists of a mobile app, available on the App Store and Google Play, plus a set of free tools on this website.

What FinSafe is not

FinSafe is not a law firm, and nothing on this website or in the app is legal advice. Our templates and guides are general assistance written in plain language — they help you organize an agreement clearly, but they cannot account for the specific facts of your situation or every rule in your country.

If a large amount of money is involved, if a dispute has already started, or if you are unsure whether a document fits your situation, speak with a qualified lawyer where you live. We say this often because it is true.

Where we focus

FinSafe started in Thailand, and Thai users get our most adapted content — documents and guidance written with everyday Thai lending in mind. From there we are expanding across Southeast Asia and India, with documents available in English, Thai, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Filipino, Hindi, and Tamil.

Content for countries other than Thailand is currently general rather than country-adapted. We label the status of every document honestly, so you always know what you are working with.
