Privacy Policy

The short version

This policy is version 2026-06 and applies to the FinSafe website. The honest summary: the website is built so that we hold as little of your information as possible. Files you process with our tools stay in your browser, drafts stay on your device, and we currently run no analytics and show no ads.

The FinSafe mobile app has its own account system and handles data differently; app-specific details are provided within the app itself.

Files you process with our web tools

When you use FinSafe PDF tools — merging, splitting, signing, comparing, and the rest — your files are processed entirely inside your browser on your own device. They are never uploaded to our servers. We cannot see them, store them, or recover them, because they never reach us at all.

Drafts in the agreement builder

When you draft a document with the builder, your work is saved in your browser's localStorage on your device so you do not lose progress if you close the tab. These drafts are not sent to us. If you want your drafts to sync across devices or be backed up, that is what accounts in the FinSafe mobile app are for.

The mobile app

The FinSafe app, made by Whale Task Co., Ltd. and available on the App Store and Google Play, has its own account system for storing agreements and payment records. Data you create in the app is governed by the notices shown in the app, and you can delete your account and its data from within the app or by emailing hello@finsafe.space.

Analytics, ads, and AI

The FinSafe website currently runs no analytics and shows no ads. If we ever add privacy-respecting analytics, we will update this policy first.

Your documents are never used to train AI models. Not by us, and not by anyone we pass them to — which is straightforward to promise for the website, since your documents never reach us.

Deleting your data

For the website, your data lives in your browser, so deleting it is in your hands: clear your browser's stored site data for finsafe.space and your drafts and preferences are gone. For app accounts, use the deletion option inside the app, or email hello@finsafe.space and we will help.

Changes and contact

If we change how the website handles your information, we will update this policy and its version date before the change takes effect. Questions about privacy are welcome at hello@finsafe.space.
